Delete your account

You can delete your account from here. Your data is removed, including anything you shared.

If you can still sign in

This is the fastest route. Deletion starts immediately and you can also take a copy of your data first.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, or tell us the phone number it uses. We verify that the account is yours before deleting anything — that check protects you, since otherwise anyone who knew your email could delete your account.

We answer within the statutory deadline for your country, and we will tell you the deadline when we acknowledge the request. If we have to refuse any part of it, we say which part and why.

What is deleted

Your account, profile, handle and contact details.
Your prayer, fasting, dhikr and Quran records, including exempt periods.
Anything you posted, and your family membership.
Your encrypted private notes. We hold only ciphertext we cannot read, and it is destroyed with the rest.
Your device sessions and notification tokens.

Kept, and why

Safety records where you were the subject of a report that led to action, for as long as the appeal window and the law require. Deleting these would let someone erase a harassment finding by deleting their account.
Financial and legal records we are required to retain, with your identity reduced to the minimum the obligation needs.
Aggregate counts that contain nothing about you — for example how many accounts existed in a month.

We will tell you if any of these apply to you specifically, rather than leaving you to wonder.

The grace window

There is a 30-day window in which signing in cancels the deletion. You can also ask for immediate deletion. You can also ask for immediate deletion, which skips the window entirely. Nothing is retained in the hope that you come back.

A child profile

A child profile is deleted by the guardian who manages it, from within their account, and deleting the guardian's account deletes it too. Guardian notes about a child are destroyed rather than handed over — including when the child later claims their own adult account.
